Tank Update

Nothing too exciting.  We rearranged the rocks again last night.  I wanted a cave instead of a mound, so now, it's back to cave life.  Hunter ended up breaking a small corner off of a piece to make things fit together a little easier.  :)  So handy to have him around!  We also did a water change.  It was a little tough to get the temperatures the same in the tank and bucket with the fresh, clean water.  We ended up putting the heater and thermometer in the bucket.  It seemed fine, but as Hunter poured it in, the water was to be colder at the bottom...  I should have realized this, but you live and you learn!  Hopefully nothing in there was affected by it too much.  We shall see!  Throughout this whole process though, I did notice that there are two snails in the tank that came with the rock.  One of them really boogies through there!  Anyway, everyone keep your fingers crossed that the water change went fine.  I seem to really stress over the small things: buying live rock, which pieces would work best, are there bad hitchhikers on them, water changes...  God help me when I have to buy a fish and put him in there!!!  :)
